After completing post-graduate training with the College of Executive Coaching, Andrew became an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF). His coaching philosophy is based on a direct, collaborative approach with clients.
Andrew is a pioneer in the cutting-edge field of Recovery Coaching. In 2005 he co-founded Recovery Coaches International [RCI] (www.recoverycoaching.org), a grassroots organization dedicated to integrating coaching into the addiction recovery community. As a Recovery Coach, licensed psychotherapist, workshop leader and consultant, Andrew brings a multi-faceted perspective and expertise to the work.
In 1988 Andrew completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst before transitioning to the West Coast. Since completing a Master of Social Welfare degree from UCLA in 1991, he has maintained a private practice in psychotherapy in West Los Angeles (www.westsidetherapist.com). He is a member, and follows the ethical guidelines from the International Coach Federation and the National Association of Social Workers.
